RAW ROOTs Simply Calm is a gentle shampoo bar crafted from organic ingredients, designed to cleanse and nurture both your dreadlocks and scalp. It is based on an organic flower extract from Chamomile, Marigold and Lavender that cares for sensitive and delicate skin and has a soothing effect on itching and irritation.
The shampoo bar is unscented, but you can't escape the scent of pure and natural soap. The organic and vegetable oils from Coconut, Olive and Avocado provide a delicious creamy and foaming shampoo for all hair types. Can also be used if you don't have dreadlocks and on the rest of the body.
The soap is handmade in the traditional way and 100% vegan and cruelty free. The soaps are left to dry for six weeks before they are sent on to you as a consumer. The drying period contributes to a minimum of water in the soap. The result is a clean and natural product with a high content of good, nurturing oils. Therefore, the soap is very concentrated and foams up very easily, so it is easy to distribute and therefore lasts much longer than a liquid shampoo.
Tip: After washing your hair, you can rinse your hair with an apple cider vinegar rinse. It will counteract itching, remove accumulated fat residues, and restore the scalp's natural ph value, while also being a natural conditioner.
Application: Wash the hair thoroughly, massaging the soap into the scalp. Concentrate on the scalp, then distribute the soap from the roots to the tips by gently squeezing the lather through the hair. Rinse and repeat as necessary. NOTE: Allow the soap to air dry between uses.
